CipherSoft has created quite a buzz around automated migration. Their Exodus-ADF software is a migration tool that converts PL/SQL libraries into Java classes. The conversion is J2EE complient and does not create wrappers, lending the process to cross platform access. This tool could be key in organizations that find themselves having to integrate two completely different database standards to form a new dynamic, interactive web database. That is not an uncommon problem as organizations merge, and technical departments face large migration issues.
