(Beijing, China--April 22, 2010) Barco, a global technology company, won six awards at the China Radio and Television Equipment Industrial Association's (CRTA) Science and Technology Innovation Award ceremony. The awards were announced in Henan Hall in the Beijing Great Hall of the People. Among the awards, the most striking one, “the Annual Scientific and Technology Innovation and Contribution Award”, was given to Barco for its display wall used in CCTV studios and the dynamic projection at the CCTV Spring Festival Gala. Seamlessly Transfer Apple Final Cut Pro Program Sequences to Adobe After Effects (Marlborough, Massachusetts--April 19, 2010) Boris FX, the leading developer of integrated effects technology for video and film, today announced Boris XML Transfer Version 2. To produce the 3D images, Sony HD cameras rolled on the second nine with two hours of live afternoon 3D coverage available throughout the four tournament rounds. Comcast used its fiber network to carry the 3D production feed to the Comcast Media Center where it was packaged for distribution to cable systems, the official Masters Web site at http://www.masters.com, as well as Sony BRAVIA 3D TV sets throughout Augusta Nationals grounds.

(April 19, 2010) Cinesite, one of the world’s leading film visual effects houses, has heavily expanded its compositing department by investing in a site licence of The Foundry’s Nuke compositing software. This allows the facility to host a significant number of additional seats for its visual effects artists. Cinesite recently used Nuke as its main compositing tool on the Warner Bros hit Clash of the Titans .
